Dr. José Ángel Barahona MD

Dr. Jose Angel Barahona MD is originally from San Salvador, El Salvador. He attended Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and graduated in 1985: Medico Cirujano. Then came to the United States and pursued Internal Medicine Residency from 1993 to 1996 in Texas Tech University Health Science Center Internal Medicine Program In El Paso, Texas. In 1995 to 1996 Dr. Jose Angel Barahona was designated the Chief of Residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Residency Program. He graduated in 1996 from Texas Tech University Health Science at El Paso as a General Internist. He has been board certified 2 consecutive terms in Internal Medicine. He has a Texas State Medical License. Dr. Barahona has been serving the community for more than 29 years.

Walk-in Appointments

“Walk-ins” are patients who have called and requested an appointment on the same day. Often, walk-in patients are being fitted into an already filled appointment book and for this reason, although we make every attempt to limit your wait, there may be a longer than usual delay before seeing the scheduled provider.

There is also the possibility that the provider seeing you may not be your usual doctor if his/her schedule is already completely booked. We are anxious to address your concerns in a timely fashion and because of the obvious time constraints, we would appreciate limiting the time available to the initiated visit and using regularly scheduled appointments for other routine problems. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.
